101 days of Kindergarten

Mrs. Quall's class had fun celebrating the 101st day of school.

Mrs. Fortner's 2nd grade class engaged in a scavenger hunt outdoors. Students practiced their measuring skills by locating objects of specific lengths.

Parents of 3rd-5th grade pageant contestants: Please see the attached flyer with updated pageant information.

Mrs. Horton's 1st grade class learned about the functions of animal structures. Students applied this knowledge with their favorite animal. They cut them out and then used fasteners on the structures that moved. Students presented them in class and showed how each animal moved.

Extended Day Tutoring for 3rd-5th grade begins today.

MJE will be celebrating our 101st day of school soon.

2nd QTR Awards Day will be this Friday, January 16th. Grades 3-5 will be at 1 p.m. Grades PreK-2nd will be at 1:20 p.m. Students may also wear jeans that day and support United Way for $2.

Congratulations to Mrs. Fortner's second-grade class for achieving the highest iReady growth in mathematics for the middle of the year. Well done, students!

Mark your calendar! MJE is planning a fun night of math activities!

Congratulations to these students in Mrs. Holland's 4th-grade class for achieving Perfect Attendance in December 2025. We extend our gratitude to the parents for their vital role in supporting their children's success.

Our new Attendance Challenge dates are January 12th - February 13th. Students who successfully complete the challenge will receive a cool treat.
